Meshfire End Of The Year Update: Video Games, New Hires, Scuf Gaming’s CEO Duncan Ironmonger and Others Join Advisory Board.
Posted on December 30, 2015
As we reach the start of a brand-new year, we here at Meshfire would like to take a brief look back. Every business is a journey, and Team Meshfire couldn’t have made it through 2015 without our customers, our community, our team, our advisors and our investors.
As 2015 began, we set our sights on the video game industry as our prime vertical. The challenges of community managers and social media managers in this industry align strongly with the core functionality of Meshfire. Community support and engagement are valuable to the video game industry, and we’ve taken time to listen, collaborate and work with industry experts and community mangers to solve some of their biggest problems in managing social media. In this time, we’re thrilled and grateful to have brought on board customers such as Wargaming, Bungie and Scuf Gaming to help them with their community management software needs.
More recently, Meshfire has changed in exciting new ways, adding amazing new team members and incredible advisors.
To support our CMO Amber Osborne (@missdestructo), our marketing team now includes Berrak Sarikaya (@berrakdc) from Ampllfy Your Biz, who’s worked with clients like Fluke, Google, and Starbucks. We also have video game industry marketing consultant Becky Taylor (@omglazerkittens) helping out on business development. Currently, we are hiring for a software development and user experience role. We can’t wait to unroll the results of what our larger, more powerful crew will build for you, our Firestarters.
Our new advisory board members include: Scuf Gaming’s CEO Duncan Ironmonger, Atlas Accelerator founder Mike Crill, gaming industry trailblazer Jon Kimmich and Seattle startup pioneer Praerit Garg. They are all lending their precious time and considerable talent to help us make Meshfire a powerhouse of social media marketing and artificial intelligence.
Thank you again for all of your support and feedback! Flame on, Firestarters — let’s burn a bright path through 2016!
